Donna Kay Holtzberger, 64 of Dunnellon, Florida, passed away at 8:46am on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at West Marion Hospital in Ocala, Florida.

She was born in Bethel, Ohio on January 11, 1959 to the late Walter Monroe and Geneva Lee (Caudill) Fields. On March 4, 1995, she married Gerald Paul “Jerry” Holtzberger and he survives in Dunnellon, Florida.

Donna is also survived by her daughters: Anna Currier and Connie Owens; stepdaughters: Courtney Holtzberger Seymour and Erin Holtzberger Eiland; stepson: Derrick Holtzberger; brother: Ronnie Fields; sisters: B. Ann Johnson and Corsia “Corky” Hartloff, and three grandsons. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Sandi Bicknell and Joyce Coldiron.

Donna was a hard worker throughout her life. She was employed at the Wal-Mart in Bellefontaine for ten years and then spent her remaining years living in Florida as a homemaker. She liked gardening, painting and spending time fishing. Donna loved animals as she has four fur babies at home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and/or St. Jude Children’s Research Project in Donna’s memory.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home, Kenton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 9, at the funeral home with visitation one hour (10-11 a.m.) prior to the funeral service. Pastor Gregg King will officiate the service with burial following in McDonald Fairview Cemetery.
