Diana Norlene Moore, 83, of Lewistown, OH, passed away peacefully, Monday, September 25, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, OH.

Diana was born on August 12, 1940, in Bellefontaine, OH, a daughter of the late Nelson Hughes and Vivian Dunlap Jauret. She married Don N. Moore on March 29, 1963, in Bellefontaine, and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2020. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Max Hughes, Keith Hughes, and James Hughes.

Diana is survived by four children, Dwight (Jennifer) Moore of Hilliard, OH, Carla Evans of Russells Point, OH, Paula Raver of Columbus, OH, and Heather Moore of Kenton, OH, ten grandchildren, Slone Moore, Aidan Moore, Annabelle Evans, Anthony Moore, Eddy Raver, Christopher Raver, Tristan Moore, Vivian Moore, Avery Slade, Jr, and Lilly Beer, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Alana (Clarence) Roberts and Sharon Ashcraft, both of Bellefontaine, and several nieces and nephews.

Diana attended Bellefontaine High School. She was a member of the Lewistown-Trinity United Methodist Church, and Women of Faith. Diana was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and OSU Buckeyes. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, and watching reality TV. Her greatest joy came from being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am, Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Lewistown-Trinity United Methodist Church. Visitation is Wednesday, October 4th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St. Lakeview and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial is in Lewistown Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions may be given in Diana’s memory to Lewistown-Trinity United Methodist Church.
