Erin Dougherty, 30 of Russells Point, was charged with possession of methamphetamine Wednesday, Oct. 18, by officers of the Washington Township Police Department, less than three weeks since she was arrested for the same offense.

Officers of the Washington Township Police Department were on patrol about 8:15 p.m. on State Route 366 near Montgomery Drive and conducted a traffic stop on Dougherty’s vehicle for a window tint violation.

Upon making contact with the defendant, she admitted to having marijuana on her person and inside of her vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted. During the search, officers located marijuana and methamphetamine inside Dougherty’s purse.

She was taken into custody and lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Dougherty was previously arrested on Sept. 29 by the Washington Township Police Department for possession of methamphetamine (bulk).
