Darrell L. Jolliff, 90, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025.
A devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, Darrell was a 1953 graduate of Perry Zane High School and worked as a data processing manager at The O.M. Scott’s Company in Marysville for 35 years. He proudly served in the Army National Guard and was a longtime member of the former East Liberty United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed woodworking and horseback riding.
Born January 13, 1935, in East Liberty, he was the son of the late Charles and Elsie (Gantt) Jolliff. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Larry Jolliff.
On June 23, 1960, at the North Lewisburg M.E. Church, he married his loving wife of over 64 years, Donna (Lytle) Jolliff, and she survives in Bellefontaine. He is also survived by a daughter, Diane (Chris) Connell of Midlothian, VA; 2 sons, David Jolliff of Columbus and Damien (Lori) Jolliff of Brandon, FL; and 2 grandchildren, Christopher (Holly) Connell and Katherine (Brandon) Podyma.
Services to celebrate Darrell’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at the Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel 222 W. Center St. West Mansfield. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the East Liberty Cemetery.
