Otterbein Green Hills announced this week that Nicole Daniels has been named the executive director for the senior living community.
She replaces Mike Ray, who retired at the end of June after being at Green Hills for 33 years.
An open house to welcome Daniels to the community is from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in Foundation Hall on the Otterbein Green Hills campus located at 6557 S. U.S. Route 68, West Liberty. The public is welcome to attend.
Green Hills Community merged with Otterbein SeniorLife at the end of 2024.
A resident of Indian Lake, Nicole previously served for eight years at the Cridersville campus of Otterbein.
She joined that organization in 2017 in the Independent Living SeniorLife sales counselor role.
During 2020, she was promoted to the director of marketing and served as a key member of the Cridersville leadership team.
In 2023, she became a licensed nursing home administrator and was promoted to executive director shortly thereafter.
Daniels grew up in Bowling Green, and graduated from the Bowling Green State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in education with a marketing focus. She obtained her MBA in 2011 from Urbana University.
Throughout her tenure at Otterbein, Daniels has had an unwavering focus on overall excellence, quality care and service, and meaningful resident and partner engagement, officials said in a release.
Daniels shared that she is thrilled to have this opportunity to serve as the executive director at Otterbein Green Hills, to continue this focus and to move the strategic direction forward. She looks forward to working with the entire Otterbein Green Hills family, as the team strives to enrich individual life journeys for all.
