Constance “Connie” L. Myers, 83, of Bluffton, OH, formerly of Lakeview, OH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Wednesday evening, March 8, 2023, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH.
Constance was born on October 4, 1939, in Logan Co, OH, a daughter of the late Arthur and Verna Heminger Roush. She married Junior Myers on August 11, 1961, in Bellefontaine, OH and he preceded her in death on March 24, 2006. She was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Myers, and two sisters, Sharon Hughes, and Jenean Jackson.
Connie is survived by three children, Michael (Kathy) Myers of Jackson Center, OH, Alyson (Lawrence) Neeley of Alger, OH, and Alan (Amy) Myers of Bluffton, 12 grandchildren, Alaina, Shane, Ashley, Chris, Katrina, Lance, Hannah, Lawren, Tabatha, Zane, Grace, and Greta, 16 great grandchildren, a brother, Arthur (Sharon) Roush, Jr. of Lakeview, a brother-in-law, Bud Jackson of DeGraff, OH, and many nieces and nephews.
Connie was a 1957 graduate of Bellefontaine High School. She was a bus driver for Upper Scioto Valley Schools for 35 years, retiring in 2006. Connie attended Ebenezer Church in Bluffton. She was a member of Roundhead United Methodist Church, and Hardin County Homemaker Club. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed being outdoors, camping, traveling, and being a part of church activities. Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Easter.
Pastor Amber Rex will begin funeral services at noon, Monday, March 13, at Roundhead United Methodist Church with visitation from 10 a.m. to noon. Burial will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, OH.
Memorial contributions may be given in Connie’s memory to Roundhead United Methodist Church.
