Benjamin Logan Middle School student Autumn Cline won the school spelling bee by correctly spelling “magistrates” in round 19.
Macie Marmon finished as the runner up with the word “wok”.
The Benjamin Logan Middle School Spelling Bee started with 40 participants in grades five through eight.
The bee is organized annually by fifth-grade teacher Bobby Gill.
Judges were Susan Headings and Holly Bar. The pronouncer was Brian Hunt.
