CJ Andrews, 27, of Delaware, OH and formerly of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away at 12:50 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023, in Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital, Westerville, Ohio.

He was born on September 25, 1995, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, the son of William “Bill” Andrews, who survives at Indian Lake, OH and Melissa “Missy” (Downing) Borchers and her husband Steve, who reside in Delaware, Ohio.

He is also survived by his sisters: Cami and Jordan Rutan, Cortnei and Kyle Cooper, Kim and Terry Rister, Amanda (Chris Welsh) Borchers, Alyssa and Perry Osborn, Leann and Cam Hood, and Lindsey (Darius Hodge) Borchers, maternal grandparents: Danny and Shirley Godwin and Wayne Downing, his nieces and nephews: Pierce, Gemma, Thessi, Rilei, Gabei, Chloei, Paige, Kayla, Emma, Ethan, Triston, Kaiden, Jasyn, Laylah, Cierra, Peyton, and Mihayla, and his aunts and uncles: Troy and Cheryl Downing, Eddie and Shelly Andrews, Carl “Hoss” and Lori Andrews, John and Jo Borchers, Deb and Cliff Jestice, and Pat and Butch Jackson. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Virginia Andrews.

CJ attended Bellefontaine City Schools and after school, was restricted to a power wheelchair as a result of a motor vehicle accident.  He loved to pull wheelies in his chair, especially in the mud and snow.  He loved drag racing, music, and scrolling on social media.

CJ loved to remind everyone to “always tip your servers!”.

There will be a celebration of life gathering at the Ohio State Eagles Campground, 5118 US 68 N., Bellefontaine, Ohio on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 2 to 5 p.m.
