City Sweets & Creamery, 222 S. Main St., Bellefontaine, is introducing a new ice cream brand to the local community — Ashby’s Sterling Ice Cream.
Known for its rich, old-fashioned ice cream parlor ice cream, Ashby’s is based in Michigan and has been recognized on numerous occasions by its peers at the National Ice Cream Retailers Association with awards for its quality and innovative flavors.
Amaretto cherry, raspberry chocolate chip, ultimate peanut butter brownie, banana puddin,’ Belgian chocolate and cool mint cookie are six of the company’s award-winning flavors.
In addition, Ashby’s Sterling was awarded Blue Ribbons for its vanilla and chocolate ice cream flavors at the World Dairy Expo, and garnered six Gold Medals at the LA County Fair.
A total of 70 creamy, premium flavors are filled with quality ingredients, such as buttery, roasted salted pecan halves; chewy Mackinac Island Fudge; large black or maraschino cherries; and fresh-frozen strawberry halves, company officials noted. Customers are invited to find their favorite new flavors at City Sweets & Creamery.
