Christopher Freeman Nichols, 67, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 8:27 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Marysville. He was born in Lima, Ohio on August 10, 1957, to the late Kenneth and Joan (Sanders) Nichols.
Chris is survived by his sisters, Michele Nichols and Therese (Scott) Donnelly; nephews, Josef (Cavelyn) Donnelly, and Christopher Donnelly; 3 great nephews, Jacob, Oliver, and Trevor Donnelly; one remaining aunt, Marlene Russell; and many cousins.
Born and raised in Bellefontaine, he graduated from Bellefontaine High School in 1975. Chris dedicated most of his professional career to D.A.B, later known as Daido, before transitioning to Generac where he worked until his retirement in 2021. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. Chris will be deeply missed by all who knew and cared for him.
