On April 22 Christopher “Chris” M. Dinovo, beloved father, co-worker, and friend, passed away at the age of 60 years old. Chris was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to his late parents, Leonard and Virginia Dinovo and his older sister Anna Schumacher.

Chris spent his young years traveling with friends to different states and making many memories. He went on to study for a year at Purdue University and transferred to Ohio Northern where he made lifelong friends and earned his degree.

Chris made his way back to Bellefontaine after receiving his degree where he was a devoted member of Saint Patrick’s Parish and started his family. Chris is survived by his two children, Daniel and Natalie Dinovo; brother-in-law Bob Schumacher; many cousins; nephew Kevin Schumacher; niece Kristen Schumacher; as well as many friends and coworkers. 

Chris will always be remembered as a people person who loved talking with all of his coworkers and customers at Walgreen’s and Lowe’s. He loved watching all sports and rooted for the Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Reds, Purdue, and more.

Friends may call on Friday, May 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, Ohio. The funeral Mass will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Saturday, May 6, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of the family, to Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St. Bellefontaine, OH  43311.
