Chloe Lynn Hodge, 17, of Huntsville, Ohio, died at 4:32 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, from injuries sustained in a January 25th, 2024, automobile accident.

She was born on October 10, 2006, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Breanna (Brady) Baier of Huntsville and Brooks (Mia) Hodge of Bellefontaine.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Gavin Clay of Huntsville, Mikayla Hodge, Nixon Hodge and Carsyn Warnecke, all of Bellefontaine, grandparents, Charles Sr. and Vivian Bland and Jim and Miriam Baier, all of Huntsville, Melanie and Bill Gilroy of Bellefontaine, Tim Hodge of Lakeview, great grandmothers, Janet Bland of Huntsville and Wilma Skelly of Bellefontaine, Linda Young of Huntsville, Liza Frank, and Charles Gariety, a nephew, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a grandmother, Taci Young, and her great grandparents, Mike Young, Donald Eugene Skelly, Charles William “Ted” Bland, Robert Glen and Ruby Baker, Richard Dean and Rose Leigh Baier, and a cousin, Scott Derek Rollins.

Chloe was a junior at Indian Lake High School, she was enrolled in the Health Careers Academy at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center and was employed at Hurley’s Farm Market in Huntsville. Blessed with a generous, loving heart, her love and generosity live on through her donation of organs and tissue.

There will be a visitation on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Bellefontaine Grace Church, 2220 S. Main St., Bellefontaine, Ohio from 2 until 6 p.m. Pastor Daniel O’Kane will officiate services at 6 p.m. Thursday at the church following the visitation.
