Chieftain Pride Lab honors graduates

The Chieftain Pride Lab, formerly the Success Center, celebrated student achievement earlier this month at Bellefontaine High School.

Eighteen students completed their course work and graduated from Bellefontaine High School. In January, four additional students also completed their course work and graduated early.

The Chieftain Pride Lab is located in the BHS Library Students can catch up on credits and receive academic support.

The lab is used as an alternative space for students who struggle in their regular classroom. Students can complete courses online as well as get extra help on outside classes. Goals are set weekly for students to work towards academic success.

The following graduated from the Chieftain Pride Lab in January: Ayden Scott, Courtney Davis, Kaytlyn Harvey and Kayden Rice

The Success Center opened six years ago, then transitioned to the Chieftain Pride Lab last fall.

Molli Jackson is the Chieftain Pride Lab coordinator. Jean Minnick, Daulton Mosbarger, and Heather Storm are Chieftain Pride Lab teachers.
