Celebration of life benefit planned for Chloe Hodge’s family

Family and friends are coming together Saturday, Feb. 24, at Indian Lake High School to honor the life of 17-year-old Chloe Hodge, who was claimed in a motor vehicle crash last month, and to raise funds for her family.

Activities take place from 3 to 7 p.m. at ILHS, where Chloe was a junior. She also attended the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center.

Attendees are invited to wear lavender, Chloe’s favorite color.

At the door, #TheChloeEffect T-shirts available in all sizes, limited to 300 T-shirts, which organizers note will sell out fast.

Pulled pork and chicken meals will be served at a cost of $10 each, also limited to 300 meals. Water will be available, but attendees are invited to take their own non-alcoholic beverages.

A handcrafted coffee truck will be on site as well.

A live auction is planned, along with a silent auction bake sale. Participants can take their baked goods to the school the day of the event.

A wide variety of raffle items will be available, and a 50/50 drawing is offered. Card drawings take place between 3 and 5 p.m.

Face painting is offered for children.
