Carole Losey, 82 of Bellefontaine passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Carole was born May 21, 1942 in Bellefontaine to the late James M. and Mary Louise (Mustaine) Underwood. On August 29, 1960 in North Carolina she married the love of her life John Carman Losey Jr., who survives.
Carole had many passions in life. However, donkeys, horses, music, theology, and working their small hobby farm were some of her favorites. She loved playing music for the community, churches, and her family on one of her many guitars and dulcimers. She was part of a local dulcimer club for 20 years and travelled around giving concerts.
She is survived by her loving husband who was always by her side for 64 years of marriage, John Carman Losey Jr.; children, Karen (Ron) Arnett, Sharon (Vincent) Guerriero and John (Elaine) Losey III, along with 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sister, Norma Underwood Penn.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marjorie Underwood Brundage
Carole will be missed by many, but we rest peacefully knowing she is where she always wanted to be, in heaven. A Memorial Service will take place Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at the McKees Creek Chaple, 4750 US 68, West Liberty, OH 43357. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 prior to the service.
