Brian D. Kuck, of Quincy, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024. 

He was born December 31, 1955 in St. Mary’s, Ohio, the son of the late Allen and Janet (Egbert) Kuck.

Brian is survived by seven siblings, Bruce Kuck, of Quincy, Ohio; Beth Queener, of Sidney, Ohio; Brent Kuck, of Sidney, Ohio; Ben Kuck, of Quincy, Ohio; Bea Gordon, of Upper Arlington, Ohio; Barney Kuck, of Maplewood, Ohio; and Barbara (Don Tangeman) Kuck of Huntsville, Ohio.  He is also survived by four nieces and nephews, Matt (Julia McCain) Gordon, Sarah (Chris) Huelskamp, Brian Queener, and Dana (Alex) Teasdale. Also surviving are four great nephews, Brycen Caudill, Roy, Ross, and Nolan Huelskamp, and two great nieces Nora Huelskamp, and Baby Teasdale on the way. 

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Wilma Kuck and niece, Crystal Caudill.  

Brian was a 1974 graduate from Riverside High School and graduated from Nashville Auto Diesel Mechanic College in Nashville, Tennessee.

He retired from General Dynamics, where he had worked for many years and was a welder working on army tanks. His work took him to Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and throughout the United States. He was a member of the Shelby County Deer Hunters Club and Shelby Country Tractors Association.

Brian was an avid hunter, traveler, gun enthusiast and gardener. Upon retirement and once deer season was over, he would pack up his beloved dog Princess and head to Arizona for the winter. 

He especially enjoyed spending time with family, friends and teaching his great nephews hunting skills. His laugh, stories, and ingenuity will be greatly missed by all close to him.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Brian’s life will be June 26  at Salm-McGill and Tangeman Funeral Home, Sidney, Ohio, from 4 to 7 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Brian’s name.
