Bonnie Sue Fogle, age 75, of Toledo, passed away August 21, 2023, at home. She was born February 1, 1948 in Bellefontaine, OH to Paul and Georgia (Wortman) Burton.
Bonnie was a long time member of the Toledo Area Disaster Medical Assistance Team. Beginning her career on the Navajo Reservation in Ganado, AZ, Bonnie then continued as an LPN for over 55 years. Bonnie was a member of the Faith Bible Baptist Church for over 30 years. She was known for her peach/cherry pie, but the greatest love of Bonnie’s life was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was also preceded in death by her siblings, Patricia, Gail and William.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mike Fogle; daughters, Angela (Keith) Shinaver, Dianna (Daryle) McGhee and Frances (William) Wismer; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, Rick, Mike and Ben Burton and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests Monday, August 28, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Faith Bible Baptist Church, 232 North McCord Road Toledo, OH 43615. The family will also receive guests, Tuesday, August 29, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. at Faith Bible Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Springfield Township Cemetery.
