Employees of the Logan County Board of Elections are staying busy this week and over the weekend, offering extended hours for in-person early voting at the 225 S. Main St., Bellefontaine, office ahead of the Nov. 7 general election.
As of Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 31, approximately 4,500 votes had already been cast in early voting in Logan County, offered beginning Oct. 11, Board of Elections Deputy Director Adam Brannon said.
Today, Wednesday, Nov. 1, through Friday, Nov. 3, the early voting hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Then this weekend, early voting is offered at the Board of Elections from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5.
Election Day voting takes place Tuesday, Nov. 7, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at polling locations around the county.
Precinct polling locations for Logan County are:
• Bellefontaine First Ward A and B, Second Ward A and B, Third Ward A and B, Fourth Ward A and B — Bellefontaine High School auxiliary gymnasium, 555 E. Lake Ave., Bellefontaine.
• Bloomfield; Stokes North, Southeast and West; Lakeview; Washington North and South; Russells Point — Indian Lake High School auxiliary gymnasium, 6210 N. State Route 235, Lewistown.
• Bokescreek, West Mansfield, Jefferson North and South, Rushcreek — Benjamin Logan Middle School gymnasium, 4626 County Road 26, Bellefontaine.
• Harrison, Lake Townships — Logan County Electric Cooperative, 1587 N. County Road 32, Bellefontaine.
• Liberty Township, West Liberty — Adriel John L. Yoder Center, 500 N. Detroit St., West Liberty.
• McArthur, Huntsville — Cornerstone Church, 6611 Fruit St., Huntsville.
• Miami/Quincy, DeGraff, Pleasant, Union— Riverside Local Schools, use north entrance, 2096 N. County Road 24, DeGraff.
• Monroe, Perry, Zane — TRC Rhodes Conference Center, 10820 State Route 347, East Liberty.
• Richland, Belle Center — American Legion Hall, 615 N. Center St., Belle Center.
