Beverly K. Pequignot, 76, of Lake Wales, Florida, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Beverly was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on June 18, 1947, to the late John J. and Wanda M. (Dunson) Frick. She is survived by daughter Amber Goodwin Shaffer; son-in-law Jay Shaffer; and sons Tad Pequignot and Cody Pequignot, all of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Beverly was a majorette at Bellefontaine High School and graduated in 1965. She worked at TRC and JCPenney’s before taking time off to raise her children. Beverly had previously served as Executive Director of the American Cancer Society in Bellefontaine. After moving to Florida, she became a medical assistant and enjoyed helping her patients. Beverly also enjoyed watching her children play tennis and spending time with her dogs.

Pastor Bryan Meadows will officiate a graveside service on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Bellefontaine Cemetery.
