Betty Lou Rogan

411

Betty Lou Rogan, of Bellefontaine, OH, went home to be with the Lord Saturday afternoon, March 4, 2023, at Green Hills Nursing Home in West Liberty, Ohio.

Betty was born on December 15, 1935, in Bokescreek, (aka “Flatwoods”) West Mansfield, Ohio to the late Benjamin Clifford and Clara (Lynch) Clark. She was the ninth child out of a family of ten siblings and was a graduate from West Mansfield High School.

She was formerly married to Rudolph Rogan affectionately called “Rudy” and was blessed with nine children, Byron Rogan of Bellefontaine, OH Kevin Rogan of California, Keith Rogan, Gary (Tonia) Rogan, and Todd Rogan of Bellefontaine, OH, Stuart Rogan of Long Beach, CA, Cindy (Jeff) Hall, Sharon Rogan of Bellefontaine, OH and Pam (Randall) Routt of Columbus, OH.

Betty was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved and took pride in nurturing her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed being around her siblings and extended family; and always attended the family dinners and reunions.  The Benjamin Clark family always requested her to bring her “delicious” potato salad to the family events.

She retired from Copeland Corporation in Sidney, OH with over 30 + years of service and was a dedicated and faithful member of Christ Our King Church. Although she was a soft-spoken lady, she was well respected and loved.

Betty leaves numerous family members to cherish her memory, including grandchildren, great-grand-children, nephews, nieces, cousins, a sister-in-law, Jean Rogan of Bellefontaine, Ohio, and a host of friends.

A funeral service will be at noon Saturday, March 11, at the Christ Our King Church in Bellefontaine, OH.  Viewing from 10 a.m. to noon will be prior to the funeral for family and friends. Burial will follow at the Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty, OH and a repast at the Christ Our King Church.

Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, is honored to serve the Rogan family and encourages anyone to share a fond memory or message of condolence at www.edsfh.com.
