Betty Jane Rockhold Predmore Zell, 91, of Bellefontaine, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 12, 2025.
She was born Dec. 21, 1933, in a little cabin in Laurelville, Ohio, to the late John Henry and Blanche Mina (Temple) Rockhold.
She was proceeded in death by her late husbands Junior Predmore and Steve Zell; her daughter Betty Jo Predmore; her daughters-in-law Mary (Benton) Predmore and Shirley (Marker) Predmore; granddaughter Erin Benton; two sisters, Marylin Howard and Bonnie Meyer; and four brothers, Walter (Bud), Dick, Jack and Jim Rockhold.
Betty is survived by four children, Robert (Linda) Predmore of Thurmont, Md., John Predmore of West Liberty, Linda (Ed) Neal of Lewistown and Beth (John) Vorhes of Waynesfield; her brother, Skip Rockhold of Laguna Hills, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, Shelia Barnhart, Stephanie (Russ) Stringfield, Staci (Andrew) Zendejas, Shawn (Kathy) Predmore, Josh Neal, Rachel Cooper, Scott Neal, Lisa Bower, Brad (Kristina) Vorhes, Tammie (Kevin Workman) Cross, and Diane (Jason) Hennon; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A private service will be conducted for the family. Burial will be at Rushsylvania Cemetery.
