Quest Community Church, 110 South St., West Liberty, hosts bestselling author and international speaker Carol Kent for a conference Saturday, Oct. 28.
“God’s Story, Your Story” offers a time of personal and spiritual encouragement as Kent shares her captivating stories of how God has continued to bring her through challenges in everyday life.

She is the founder and executive director of Speak Up Conferences, events that are committed to helping people develop their speaking and writing skills.
Kent and her husband, Gene, also have founded a nonprofit organization, Speak Up for Hope, which benefits inmates and their families

Lunch is served by Paul’s Catering, and the day also includes prizes, worship and fellowship.
Online registration for the conference is available via a link at questchurchonline.com/events through Oct. 23. Tickets are $25 for those who register online by that date, or $35 at the door.

In addition, attendees have the choice of which of the four breakout sessions they’d like to attend:
• Let’s Talk About Jesus – Kimberly Elliott; This session focuses on about our personal prayers with Jesus, as well as conversations with others about him. Participants will be encouraged as they focus on a more organic approach to sharing the faith and the hope that we have in Christ.
• Your Money Matters — Stacy Calton; “The Journey of 1,000 miles begins with a single step.” Life is a journey and handling money is a process you learn as you go. Come hear what the speaker wishes she would have known and how you can begin by taking a step in the right direction.
• Leaving a Legacy — Dee Dee Bender; Raising a family is not for the faint of heart. Discipling your children through the years takes tenacity and determination. Come hear from a mother of 12 as one who has been there, sharing tips about Christian motherhood.
• The Power of Hope — Sharon Dodds; “Hope is everywhere, you just have to look for it.” The power of hope is choosing to see the bigger picture in our lives as we step back, step out, and step up into God’s design for us and take notice as He continues to write our story.
