DAYTON — The Division II sectional girls bowling tournament was held Tuesday at RollHouse Lanes.
Benjamin Logan finished eighth and West Liberty-Salem 10th. Both are among the top 12 teams that advanced to the district tournament.
Also participating were Indian Lake (16th) and Triad (20th).
Indian Lake’s Addison Castle had a 514 series (190-171-153) and was the highest individual qualifier.
The format was three regulation games and six Baker games.
Benjamin Logan had 3,217 pins, with 2,311 in regular games and 906 in the Bakers. The regular game scores were 827, 800 and 684. Aubrey Zedlitz had a 522 series (186-165-171). Hunter McColloch had a 480 (179-171-130), Kaelyn Corwin rolled a 449 (158-138-153) and Lorali Klopfenstein had 429 (138-170-121). Maddy Hamm had games of 166 and 156. Also in action were Reigan Thomas and Jacey Koehler.
West Liberty-Salem had regular scores of 647, 851, and 709 for a total of 2,207. They combined for 978 in the Baker games. Lilly Gearheart had the high series of 524 (149-208-167) for the Tigers. Next was Alyssa Mueller at 469 (158-172-139) and Elli Ullery with 468 (124-173-171), then Sadie Paul with 419 (111-156-152). Jenny Reprogle had a 327 (105-142-80), with Kathy Roehm also in competition.
The Lady Lakers had scores of 670, 614 and 647 for 1,931 pins in regular games. Their Baker games total was 775, with a combined score of 2,706. Besides Castle, Chassy Dolan had a 394 series (151-133-110) and Kacie Craft had a 376 (155-92-129). Payton Davis had games of 111 and 105, Rena Knox had a 150, Kylee Harford had a 101, and Raelynn Richmond also took part.
Triad had 1,776 in the regular games, with scores of 596, 546 and 634. They got 617 in Baker games for an overall total of 2,393. Isabella Russell had the high series at 420 (147-136-137). Other scores were Natalie Burton with 368 (137-116-115); Madison Wells with 350 (121-128-101); Adyson Feasel with 336 (88-103-145); and Christina Issacs with 302 (103-63-136).
Other individual qualifiers were Reagan Judy of Northeastern, Alyssa Meisner of Emmanuel Christian Academy, Kyleigh Thornton of Bethel, Alivia Lawson of Dayton Christian, Danika Neargarder and Rachael Philiposian, both of Mississinawa Valley, Ella Turner of Greeneview, Allie Sheen of Bethel, Storm Fuller-Givens of Shawnee, Haleigh Henry of Northeastern and Avery Tobias of Yellow Springs.
Districts will be held Feb. 19 at Beaver-Vu Bowl in Beavercreek. Competition begins at 10:45 a.m.
