Benjamin Logan tasted victory Monday night, as they defeated host Ridgemont 51-38 in nonleague girls basketball play.
Kylie Harner had 14 points, Kaylee Hays had 12 and Lahna Cook scored nine in the win.
The Lady Raiders are 2-16 on the season, and have four games remaining.
Ben Logan scored 13 points in the first and 15 in the second, then racked up 18 in the third period. The Gophers were held to 11 points in the first half.
Ben Logan will host Triad at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, with the seniors to be recognized before the game.

Raiders down Pirates
Benjamin Logan faced Riverside for a boys bowling match on Monday at T-P Lanes.
The Raiders had 2,804 pins to Riverside’s 2,505.
For Ben Logan (14-2), Jarrett Buckenroth had the high series with 446 (215-231). Next was Nate Davis at 411 (192-219). They were followed by Landon Stoodt at 396 (190-206); Dylan Stewart 381 (158-223); and Caleb Knight with 361 (172-189).
Cooper Crouch had a 470 series (222-248) to lead Riverside and Zavier Herron had a 210 game.
In the junior varsity match, Ben Logan had 2,223 to the Pirates’ 1,775.
Conner Chambers led Ben Logan with a 400 series (230-170), followed by Wyatt LeVan with 348 (181-167), Jace Lyons with 298 (151-147), Pierce Jenkins at 271 (112-159) and Colton Klopfenstein with 270 (144-126). The JV’s record is 10-4.
Riverside’s Jackson Linet had a 350 series, with games of 203 and 147.
On Friday, the Raiders will celebrate Senior Night with the final league match against North Union at 4 p.m. at T-P Lanes. The seniors will be recognized at 3:45.

Tigers sweep Cardinals
West Liberty-Salem defeated Triad in boys and girls bowling matches Monday afternoon.
In the boys’ match, the Tigers came out on top, 2,398 to 2,080.
Leading WL-S was Luke Thomas with a 372 series (177-195), followed by Zander Gluckle at 369 (179-190); then Devon Jones with 350 (191-159); Evan Borgerding at 349 (157-192) and Tucker Searles with 340 (169-171).
The Cardinals’ high series was rolled by William Benton with 349 (173-176). He was followed by Erron Donohue with 316 (155-161), Caden Organ with 311 (150-161), Hayden Sheppard at 294 (140-154) and Noah Meadows with 272 (159-113).
West Liberty-Salem is 7-5 and Triad is 2-8 on the season.
For the Tigers’ JV, scores were Carson Instine 189, Jerome Cordrey 144, Xzavior Nicholl 143, Austin Markin 142, and Patrick Brooks 130.

The West Liberty-Salem girls won by a count of 2,145 to Triad’s 1,565.
High series for WL-S was recorded by Elli Ullery with a 386 (216-170). Next was Alyssa Mueller with 331 (151-180), then Lilly Gearheart with 317 (172-145) and Sadie Paul with 283 (145-138). Kathy Roehm had a 124 game and Jenny Reprogle contributed a 114 game.
Madison Wells had the high series for Triad at 241 (126-115). Next was Chris Isaacs with 237 (134-103), then Natalie Burton with 227 (128-99), Isabella Russell with 214 (104-110) and Railynn Robinson at 164 (84-80).
West Liberty-Salem’s record is 8-3, with Triad now 1-7.
