Benjamin Logan High School will host an inaugural Grapple on the Gridiron wrestling tournament on Saturday, June 8, according to a school press release. The event will be presented by Rudis Wrestling.

“We are thrilled to host Grapple on the Gridiron at Benjamin Logan High School,” said BL activities director Beau Harmon in the release. “This event brings together talented wrestlers from across the region for a day of intense competition and sportsmanship.”

There will be six divisions of wrestling for male and female grapplers aged 5-19.

“We encourage wrestlers of all skill levels to join us for this exciting event,” added Harmon. “Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or new to the sport, Grapple on the Gridiron offers an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.”

In addition to the wrestling, there will be concessions available for fans. Rudis, the event sponsor, will have a booth on campus selling merchandise, providing fans with the opportunity to gear up and show their support for their favorite wrestlers.

Gates open at 2 p.m., with wrestling action kicking off at 6 p.m. under the lights of the Benjamin Logan football stadium.

Admission for spectators is $5 for adults and kids, with children under 5 admitted for free.

Pre-registration for wrestlers is available online through TrackWrestling until 11 p.m. on June 6 with a registration fee of $35. On-site registration will also be available for $40. Payment can be made online via Venmo or in person at the registration table.
