Ben Logan falls to Shawnee

The Benjamin Logan boys basketball team made the trip to Springfield on Friday night and went toe-to-toe with the host Shawnee Braves in a physical, hard-fought contest, but ultimately came up short in a 47–35 setback.

Roman Maxwell led the Raiders with eight points while also pulling down seven rebounds and recording a block. Maddox Vermillion followed with seven points, six rebounds and a steal, providing a strong inside presence. Clayton Jenkins chipped in five points, three rebounds and a steal, while Cayden Brown added five points and a team-high eight rebounds. Carter Fay finished with four points, two rebounds and a steal, Peyton Vermillion contributed four points and five rebounds, and Christian Rogan tallied two points, two assists and a block.

Junior Varsity

The JV Raiders picked up an impressive road victory, defeating Shawnee 49–45. Micah Gregg paced the Raiders with 12 points, while Owen Stratton added 11 in the balanced scoring effort.
