Bellefontaine’s Tavien St. Clair proved he belongs with the best prep quarterbacks in the country while competing at the Elite 11
Finals this week in Los Angeles.

The prestigious event, which has produced numerous NFL and college stars, began Tuesday night and wrapped up Thursday after-
noon. There were 19 quarterbacks from across the country in attendance.

The highlight for St. Clair came during Wednesday’s portion of the camp when he won the accuracy challenge.

The competitors were tasked with hitting various targets, with St. Clair scoring a high of 67 points.

The recruiting website 247 Sports named St. Clair its “Alpha Dog” after each of the first two days.

The Elite 11 staff also placed St. Clair at the top of its rankings after the first two days.

A 7-on-7 competition was the closing activity Thursday.

Keelon Russell, a Texas native who has committed to Alabama, used a strong 7-on-7 showing to earn the week’s MVP honor.

St. Clair, who plans to play at Ohio State, will now turn his focus to his senior season with the Chiefs. He was a first-team all-Ohio
selection as a junior when he was 233-of-330 passing for 3,083 yards and 37 touchdowns with just six interceptions. He also ran for 352 yards and four touchdowns on 36 attempts.
