Bellefontaine High School graduate Jack Clement, a senior basketball player at Ohio Wesleyan University, has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference player of the year.
Clement put together a sensational season for the Bishops.
He led the NCAC in scoring at 23.1 points per game. He was seventh in the league in assists (2.5 per game) and 18th in rebounding (4.7 per game).
Clement, who scored over 1,000 points during his Bellefontaine career, has been a two-time first-team all-NCAC selection at OWU.
Ohio Wesleyan went 16-10 during the regular season and tied for second in the NCAC standings. The Bishops advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAC tournament.
