BEAVERCREEK — Disitrict bowling tournaments were held for Division I boys and girls at Beaver-Vu Lanes in Beavercreek.
The boys competition was held Thursday, with the girls on Friday.
The top five teams advanced to the state tournament, along with individuals.
In the girls’ action, Bellefontaine grabbed fifth place with 3,796 total pins. They had 2,709 in three regular games and 1,087 in the six Baker games. There were 24 teams in the field.
It is the third straight season that the Lady Chieftains have reached the state competition.
Gracie Hood had the high series of 607 for Bellefontaine, which was 11th overall. Her game scores were 159, 247 and 201.
Next was Nevaeh LaFollette with 582 (155-226-201), followed by Chloe Heminger at 558 (231-170-157), and Haylee Yelton with 544 (184-180-180). Avery Mullins had games of 161 and 144. Also in action were Rylee Anderson and Isabelle Gunnett.
Joining the Lady Chieftains at the state tournament will be Butler (3,949), Fairmont (3,831), Northmont (3,830) and Beavercreek (3,806).
The individuals who will take part are Troy’s Baylie Massingill (658) and Libby Burghardt (644), Libby Hurley of Sidney (636), Nevaeh Williams of Walnut Hills (630) and Izzy Rhoads of Wilmington (617).

In the boys tournament, LaSalle finished first overall with 4,462 pins. Other teams heading to Columbus for the state tourney are Kenton Ridge (4,461), Beavercreek (4,434), Oak Hills (4,328) and Miamisburg (4,318).
The individual qualifiers are Mason Kelley of Hamilton (777), Josh Honaker of Elder (741), William Shepard of West Clermont (739), LaMarcus Ward of Middletown (736) and Easton Pierani of Sycamore (730).
Bellefontaine senior Rory Pierce finished 63rd with a three game series of 581. His game scores were 176, 192 and 213.
The state tournaments will be held next weekend at HP Lanes in Columbus. The Bellefontaine girls will compete on Friday. The qualifying round begins at 10:45 a.m. Tickets are available at www.ohsaa.org/tickets.
