Senior Hayden Maus took first place with a time of 15:38. Jake Moreland was seventh (16:39); followed by Oliver Grandstaff (ninth, 16:49); Will Myers (15th, 17:19); and Landon Gerwels (19th, 17:39).

Coach Ben Davis said, “Our primary pre-race goal was to use competition to prep for post season. The cherry on top would’ve been to win it all. We were so close to that. But, having our best team race of the season accomplished a lot.  Hayden’s back-to-back title was the first by a Chieftain in 40 years, and he is the third Chieftain runner to be first team all-league all four years. Jake and Oliver joined him on the first team. Will, Landon, Andrew earned second team honors with Brenden honorable mention. Jake Moreland was our CBC Sportsmanship winner via team vote.”

Coach Stacey Wilson said, “Despite competing without standout junior Hannah Wilson, who suffered a season-ending injury, the team rose to the occasion and showed remarkable depth and determination — momentum that carries them confidently into postseason competition.
