It’s fall and that means its peak season for apple cider. Thirty students from the Benjamin Logan Environmental Science Club recently learned apple how apple cider is made during a program hosted by the Logan County Land Trust. Dwight Hanson explained the operation of an orchard and volunteers provided the guidance of how an apple press works and students sampled the tasty cider that follows. Lois Stoll also offered fall treats to go with the cider. Learn more at logancountylandtrust.org. (Logan County Land Trust Photos)
