Anna Mae Shape Smith passed away June 30, 2024, in Ocala, Fla., at the age of 93.

She was born May 9, 1931, in Rushsylvania, Ohio, to parents Carl and Lenore Shape.

Anna worked at DAB, Merchants Industries, Thoman’s IGA and Mary Rutan Hospital.

She was preceded in death by siblings, Clara Herring, Lois Hasty, Russell Shape, Richard Shape, Edward Shape, Jim Shape, Frances Webb, John Shape, Robert Shape, Paul Shape, and Dorothy Shape; and Clara Miller (Aunty), who was a close family friend.

Survivors include Rose (Edward) Shape; daughters, Deborah (Steve) Bishop, Karen Lyons and Teri (Beth Rice) Smith; grandchildren, Amber (Sam) Wagner Prince, Shanna (Travis) Harrington, Lauren (Quentin) Tyson and Brandon (Holly Varney) Lyons; and seven great-grandchildren

A memorial will be conducted at a later date at Indian Lake, Ohio.
