Anita Sue Klass Martin, 75, of Lakeview, OH, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 21, 2023, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH.
Sue was born on November 28, 1947, in Cambridge, OH, a daughter of the late Jack and Joan Tuttle Klass. She is survived by the love of her life, Roger Armentrout, her sister, Mary Kay (Tom) Oakley of Huntsville, OH, nieces and nephews, Gary (Jennifer) Sowders, Kristin Oakley, Nick (Cortney) Oakley, and Amanda Coleman Downs, and great nieces and nephews, Paul, Jacob and Andrew Sowders, Christopher and Caleb Timms, and Harper and Hunter Oakley.
Sue was a 1965 graduate of Indian Lake High School. She was a beautician at Impressions in Russells Point for many years. Sue was a member of Indian Lake Eagles Aeries #3615. Sue enjoyed cooking, shopping, knitting, studying genealogy, gardening, and spoiling her cats. Her greatest joy came from lunches with the ladies and spending time with Roger and “making him happy”.
Per Sue’s wishes, no formal services will be observed. Memorial contributions may be given in Sue’s memory to Logan County Cancer Society c/o Mary Rutan Hospital.
