An alleged drug dealer with pending criminal cases against him was arrested again around 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 6, for continued alleged drug trafficking.

Mark Bible, 52, of Bellefontaine, was arrested following a traffic stop initiated by officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department at the intersection of south Main Street and Gunntown Road. The Logan County Sheriff’s Office and a Bellefontaine K9 unit assisted at the scene of the traffic stop.

Investigators had recently obtained a felony arrest warrant for Bible for his involvement in a drug trafficking investigation conducted by the BPD criminal patrol unit and sheriff’s office detectives.

The investigation revealed Bible was allowing other individuals to utilize his vehicle to make frequent trips to source cities to obtain large amounts of narcotics and return to Bellefontaine to be sold locally.

The suspect was ordered out of the gray Jeep he was driving and taken into custody without incident. He was lodged in the Logan County Jail, charged with a second-degree felony count of complicity to possession of drugs. Bible had been released from jail on bond for a pending aggravated drug trafficking case.
