Addie Frances Schroer, 89, of Russells Point, OH passed away Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine, OH.
Addie was born on August 6, 1935, in Insko, KY, a daughter of the late John Milton and Ella Jane Morris Taulbee. She first married Richard W. Sheeley, Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1961, she then married Gary Schroer, and he preceded her in death in 2005. She is also preceded in death by her son, Richard Sheeley, Jr., three brothers, James, Julian, and John, and two sisters, Vanessa Prater, and Bonnie Alexander.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Debra McJunkin of Russells Point, three grandchildren, Heather McJunkin, James McJunkin, and Douglas Spathe, a sister, Louanna (Dean) Yocum of Delaware, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Frances worked at Point Market and Cassano’s Pizza, both in Russells Point, and then Hollaway Sportswear in Jackson Center, OH, where she retired. She was a member of Indian Lake Northside Church of the Nazarene. Frances enjoyed shopping, collecting porcelain dolls, and especially spending time with her family, including Saturday game night.
Pastor Tim Moebs will begin funeral services at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to her family.
