The Logan County Visitors Bureau is excited to announce the recipients of the fall 2025 grant round, a part of its ongoing program to foster tourism-related projects throughout the county. This season, two local organizations have been awarded grants for their initiatives to enrich the visitor experience and highlight Logan County’s unique offerings.

The Belle Center Veterans Memorial Foundation will receive funding for a Veterans Memorial to honor the brave service members from Belle Center. The granite monument, to be placed at the Belle Center Legion Post 266 building, on the old jail cell site, will include an honor wall feature, serving as a tribute to those Belle Center natives who have served our country.

LoCo Art will create an “America250 Mural,” showcasing the legacy and influence of Native Americans in Logan County. Timed to coordinate with Ohio’s America250 celebration, the project will feature high school art students and teaching artists, capturing the heritage and significance of Native American Culture through a vibrant mural.

“The projects these grants are supporting really do reflect the diversity of the Logan County experience. We’re proud to support local efforts that connect visitors with the County’s attractions, businesses, and unique experiences. Both grant rounds this year brought more great projects than we could fund. We hope that as this program grows, so will the scope of what we can accomplish,” said Jamison Thornton, Director of the Logan County Visitors Bureau.

The Visitors Bureau Grant program is an annual initiative, split into two rounds, to elevate tourism and foster community engagement in Logan County. According to JD Harshfield, the outgoing Chair of the Logan County Visitors Bureau Council, “This grant program not only boosts tourism initiatives but also funnels local tourism dollars back into our economy, benefiting both the organizations and our community.”
