The spirit of the season filled the auditorium last week as Bellefontaine High School hosted its annual Holiday Concert, showcasing the talents of the school’s music ensembles and spreading holiday cheer throughout the community.

Students from the Concert Choir, Symphonic Choir, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Les Fons, and Symphonic Band performed a wide-ranging program of seasonal favorites before a packed audience.

The concert was led by Bellefontaine High School’s music educators, including Brice Henry (choir), Laura Mitchell (orchestra), Ken Hoffman (band), and Heather Rivon (band), whose direction highlighted the depth and strength of the district’s music program.

In addition to the performances, the music program paired the event with its annual holiday food drive. Donations were collected at each Bellefontaine City Schools building over the past several weeks and were later distributed to several families within the district.

The concert and food drive together reflected the season’s message of generosity, community, and celebration.
