Harry E. Millington, 78, of Bellefontaine, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 7, 2025, at his home.
Harry was born in Richwood, Ohio, on February 8, 1947, to the late Matthew M. Millington, Sr. and Betty J. (Winebrenner) Millington. He was also preceded in death by a sister Priscilla Miranda, brothers Matthew M. “Skip” Millington and Patrick A. Millington; a grandchild and a nephew.
Harry is survived by his wife, Peggy (Grant) Millington, whom he married on August 31, 1985. He is also survived by children: Kellie (Stephen) Berry of Sidney, Brian (Mindy) Latimer of Willow Springs, NC, and Dana Bright of Bellefontaine; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Dawn (Jeff) Duffy of Bellefontaine.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Harry served during Vietnam. He worked as a laborer for nearly 40 years at HBD in Bellefontaine. Harry enjoyed fishing and was a wildlife enthusiast. Family was his main priority, and he treasured the time spent with his kids and grandkids.
Chaplain Mike Porter will officiate Harry’s funeral service on Friday, December 12, at 11a.m. at Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty, with military rites provided by members of the Logan County Veterans Honor Guard.
