Stony Creek Church, 3570 County Road 31 S, Bellefontaine, Ohio, is prayerfully seeking a Pastor to lead our congregation in faith, love, and service. We are a warm and welcoming church family with deep roots in our community, and we’re looking for a shepherd who is called by God to guide us spiritually and help us grow in His Word.
The Pastor will serve as the spiritual head of the church, leading worship and preaching the Gospel with sincerity and conviction. He will provide pastoral care, counsel those in need, visit the sick and homebound, and encourage fellowship among members. In addition, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of the church, coordinate with staff and volunteers, and help strengthen outreach efforts that share God’s love with our community.
We are open to candidates who can serve as our Pastor in conjunction with working full or part-time elsewhere.
We seek someone who demonstrates the biblical qualities of an overseer, lives a Christ-centered life, and feels a clear calling to pastoral ministry. A Seminary degree is welcome but not required; more important is a strong foundation in Scripture, sound teaching, and the spiritual gifts necessary to lead and inspire God’s people. The Pastor should be licensed or ordained and possess strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
The position is for an indefinite term and includes an annual review by our ministry and evangelism committee.
