Phyllis E. Oliver, 92, of Bellefontaine passed into the loving arms of Jesus Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the Logan Acres Senior Community.

Phyllis was born July 17, 1933 in Logan County to the late George Edward and Elizabeth Dora (Redmond) Heizer. 

On November 6, 1955 in West Mansfield she married the love of her life Raleigh Owen Oliver, who survives.

She is also survived by her children, Cherille (Jim) VanWinkle, Cindy (John) Bettinger, Stephen (Kathy) Oliver, Robert Oliver and Tim (Shekina) Oliver; 11 grandchildren, many loving great and great great grandchildren; siblings, Robert (Flo) Heizer, Fred Heizer and Thomas (Ellen) Heizer; many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was a homemaker for the first portion of her adult life. She was a 4-H advisor for many years. She was associated with the Logan County Antique Tractors Association. Phyllis was a member of a women’s missionary society. She was proud to be a part of the Welcome Wagon in the Rushsylvania area. 

In 1980, along with Raleigh, she started Industrial Pulley and Machine Company of West Mansfield. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to get to know her.

She is preceded in death by her four brothers and four sisters.

A Funeral Service will be Monday, November 3, at 1 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the services. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the service.
