Ronae Kristen Gooding, 50, of Athens, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 10, 2025.
Ronae was born on January 9, 1975, in Bellefontaine, OH, a daughter of the late Ruthanna Eley Tynan, and Ronald Gooding, who survives at Indian Lake, OH. She was also preceded in death by her stepmother, Linda Gooding.
Ronae is also survived by a brother, Rob Gooding of Mesa, AZ, two stepsisters, Tracey (Bob) Lowery, and Tonya (Crystal) Jacobs.
Ronae was a 1993 valedictorian of Indian Lake High School. She went to culinary school and earned an associate degree from Hocking College. Ronae was partner and operated Casa Nueva Restaurant in Athens. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and cooking. She loved spending time with her dog and being outdoors.
Private family services will be conducted at a later date with inurnment in Huntsville Cemetery.
