Local high school juniors and seniors explored future career paths Friday, Sept. 26, at the 44th annual Logan County College Day hosted by Benjamin Logan High School, as organized by the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center as part of the 3-E Initiative: Enrolled, Enlisted, Employed. The event brought together more than 60 representatives from colleges, universities, military branches and scholarship organizations. Participating schools included Bellefontaine, Benjamin Logan, Indian Lake, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center and Riverside. Students were able to ask questions, gather information and examine possible opportunities for their futures. College Day serves as a valuable resource for Logan County high school students to: meet admissions and military representatives face-to-face; explore programs, training and scholarships; discover new schools or pathways they may not have previously considered; and gain knowledge and confidence as they prepare for life after graduation.
