Quarterback Tavien St. Clair saw his first game action with the Ohio State Buckeyes during Saturday’s 70-0 win over Grambling.
St. Clair, a 2024 graduate of Bellefontaine High School, played on the final two drives of the game. The first one lasted five plays. He threw an incompletion on third down with 10:39 remaining.
On the second one, Bo Jackson began with a seven yard run. St. Clair then threw incomplete on second down.
Jackson then ran for 51 yards to the Grambling 26-yard line. Isaiah West had runs for four, three, and six yards to pick up a first down at the 19.
After penalties for offsides and illegal formation, Jackson ran for 10 yards to the Tigers’ 3-yard line. Sam Dixon finished it off with two short runs, the second for a touchdown with 31 seconds left.
Ohio State is now 2-0 on the season. They will host Ohio University this Saturday, with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
