Golf round-up: Lady Lakers get win over Raiders

Indian Lake defeated Benjamin Logan 208 to 225 on Friday at Prairie View.

Indian Lake’s Adriana Andrus was the medalist with a score of 48. Alex Kinney had 49. 

For the Lady Raiders, Annika Schmidt had the low round of 53. She was followed by Catherine Bramlage at 55, Bea Warren with 58 and Leah Braddock at 59.

Others in action were Kaylynn Crumm (63), Sophia VanVaoorhis (68), Montana Coleman (74), Kaydence Hamlin (78) and Alayna Johnson (81).

Indian Lake faced Russia on Thursday at Stillwater Golf Course. Both teams had a score of 224, with the Russia winning the tiebreaker.

Alex Kinney had the low round for Indian Lake with 52, and Lily Micheal had 54.

WL-S stays undefeated

West Liberty-Salem improved to 5-0 on the season by outshooting Mechanicsburg and Greenon in a twi-match on Friday at Liberty Hills.

The Lady Tigers had a score of 207, Mechanicsburg 223 and Greenon 248.

Olivia Reichardt led WL-S with a 43. Geneva Estep had 51, Taylor Cook 54 and Marisa Smith 59.

Pirates fall to Bethel

Riverside lost to Bethel in a Three Rivers Conference match on Thursday, 211 to 234.

Reaghan McDaniel got medalist honors with a round of 37. Adalynn Calaway finished with 60, Lei Hurley 64 and Grace Owens had a 69.

Riverside was part of a three-way contest with Celina and New Bremen on Wednesday at Mercer County Elks Golf Course.

New Bremen had 202, Celina 206 and the Lady Pirates 234.

McDaniel was the match medalist with a round of 38. The other scores were Calaway (57), Hurley (58), and Owens (81).

Pirates drop league matches

Riverside fell to host Lehman Catholic 161 to 179 on Friday morning at Shelby Oaks.

Hayden McCully put up a 37 and was the medalist. Rounding out the team score were Hayden Sanford (45), Syler Clark (48) and Daniel Esh (49). 

Also in action were Zane Armbruster (50) and David Gross (55).

For Lehman Catholic, scores were Henry Peterson (38), Jack Williams (39), Shane Frantz (41) and Braden Ulbrich (43).

The Pirates lost to Bethel 167 to 190 in a TRC contest on Thursday at Cherokee Hills. 

McCully was the medalist with a score of 38. Sanford was next with 45, followed by Clark at 51 and Armbruster with 56.

Other scores were Gross (56) and Esh (57).

Scores for Bethel were Braden Shoup (41), Rueger Harrah (41), Ethan Wishon (42) and Cooper Mears (43).

North Union tops Lakers

The Indian Lake golfers lost to North Union 166 to 172 on Wednesday at Prairie View.

Cooper Hall had a round of 42 for the Lakers. He was followed by Jaxon Snipes and Crew McPherson, each with 43 and Joe Cummins at 44.

Other scores were Kade Richardson (47) and Jesse Carder (49).

North Union’s Jaxon Joliff shot 38 to claim medalist honors.

Indian Lake faces Botkins on Monday at Prairie View.
