A woman was charged Wednesday, March 12, with multiple felonies following a domestic dispute reported by a neighbor in the 300 block of east Lake Drive in Lakeview, officers of the Washington Township Police Department report.
Michelle Campbell, 49, of Lakeview, was charged with domestic violence and disrupting public service, both felonies, after she reportedly assaulted her live-in boyfriend and broke his phone as he attempted to call 911.
Officers were dispatched around 9:52 p.m. and spoke with the victim, who had visible injuries from the assault. He told officers he feared for his life and was grateful for their response.
Campbell was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
