Tanay E. Grumbling, 30, of DeGraff, was transported by Huntsville EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital for treatment of non-lifethreatening injuries sustained in a three-vehicle crash Friday morning, Jan. 24.

Troopers of the Marysville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are currently
investigating the crash occurred at approximately 8:50 a.m. on State Route 274 at the intersection of Township Road 95 in McArthur Township.

Charles W. Hampton, 43, of Dayton, reportedly was operating a westbound 2022 Volvo semi-tractor and trailer on S.R. 274 approaching the intersection of T.R. 95.

An eastbound 2016 Toyota 4Runner operated by Grumbling was stopped on S.R. 274 waiting to make a left turn onto T.R. 95, when an eastbound 2020 Ford Explorer operated by Ashley E. Roseburrough, 37, of Lewistown, failed to stop and struck the Toyota from the rear.

The Toyota was then forced into the westbound lane and struck by the semi.

Roseburrough sustained minor injuries and was not transported. Hampton did not sustain any injuries during the crash.

Neither alcohol nor drugs are factors in the crash. All drivers involved were wearing their
safety belts.

Troopers were at the scene by Huntsville Fire and EMS, Indian Lake EMS, Dad’s Towing and Top’s Towing. All assisting agencies and services were instrumental during the investigation and clearing of the scene.
