Candace Faye “Candi” Caudill, 57 of Bellefontaine passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024 at the OSU Wexner Medical Center.

Candace was born July 11, 1967 in Springfield, OH to Clyde Smith and Carol (Sturgill) Ross, who survive. On July 1, 2011 she married Kenneth George “Boo” Caudill, who survives.

Candi retired from Honda in 2022 after 34 years of dedicated work. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening. Candi loved supporting her grandchildren in their sports, spending time with her friends and traveling to Florida to see her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Candi will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Candi is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Boo Caudill; children, Brittany (John) Fout, Kierstan (Cody) Grates and Leeah (Triston Teets) Valentine; step sons, Zakk Caudill, Konnor Caudill, Branyan Caudill and Derek (Alissa) Kindell; grandchildren, Brielle Kline, Braden Fout, Dixon Fout, August Grates, Asher Grates, Andi Kindell, Austin Kindell and one grandchild on the way; parents, Clyde Smith and Carol (George) Ross; siblings, David Smith and Lindsay Buening; special aunt, Lorene Powers; uncle, Gary Sturgill; father-in-law, Lynn Caudill; special friends, Jeannine Wolfe, Dave & Chris Barkeloo, Ellen Anderson.

Candi is preceded in death by brother, Anthony Smith; maternal grandparents, Faye Nightingale and Eugene Sturgill; paternal grandparents, Harvey & Stacia Smith; mother-in-law, Jackie Caudill.

A Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 28, at 1 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the service.
