An Urbana man was transported by medical helicopter from the scene of single-vehicle crash Saturday, Dec. 14, that occurred along U.S. Route 68 in West Liberty.
Kevin Lycans, 28, was operating a southbound vehicle around 4:45 p.m. just north of County Road 5, when he lost control of his vehicle and struck a guardrail, resulting in heavy damage, officers of the West Liberty Police Department report.
Macochee EMS evaluated Lycans at the scene. MedFlight was called, and the driver was airlifted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for treatment. The incident remains under investigation
