The Bellefontaine Middle School Robotics teams showcased their skills and teamwork at the Highland County Classic – a blended middle and high school robotics event Saturday, Dec. 7.

Despite direct competition with high school teams, all seven BMS teams earned a spot in the tournament.

Teams 7865A, 7865F and 7865X advanced to the quarterfinals, demonstrating precision and strategy in their game play.

Team 7865B members Greyson Huffman, Chloe O’Chocke, Max Miranda and Charlie Moreland finished in third place, beating 20 high school teams in the qualification rounds. Their exceptional performance and dedication earned them the prestigious Middle School Excellence Award, a recognition of their outstanding engineering, programming and skills.

This achievement not only highlights the depth of talent within the Bellefontaine Robotics program but also secures Team 7865B a coveted spot at the Ohio State Robotics Competition in the spring.
