Nevada was a 1949 graduate of Roundhead School. She handled accounting and finances for several companies over the years. She attended Russells Point Church of God her whole life. She loved traveling with Lowell, and they were members of Wally Byam Caravan Club, traveling throughout the United States, and taking several cruises. They also wintered in Florida for many years.

Nevada enjoyed crocheting and made Afghans for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family and her Lord Jesus Christ gave her purpose and joy every day. She was truly a “Godly woman” who set an example of how one should live such a life and treat others.
